On February 25th, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Central European Time) I had the great pleasure and honor of collaborating with the artists pictured above in a recording session of my composition Concertpiece for Horn, Clarinet and Piano.

It was an intense and exhilarating experience to hear Concertpiece brought to life by this trio of outstanding musicians as they put together the tracks for an upcoming PARMA Recordings album release of modern music for horn featuring the renowned horn virtuoso Radek Baborak.

The depth and tone of the recording session was characterized by a responsive, focused, respectful, and competent process of communication which I am sure will be reflected in the spirit and artistic quality of the final recording being produced.

I am extremely appreciative of, and gratified by the feedback the piece received after the session, and I am looking forward to continuing the process as we move forward into the mixing phase, final album release and live concert (TBA).

So, thank you Gentlemen for everything you brought to the table for phase one of this exciting project. It was an honor, a privilege and a pleasure to meet you and work with you! I need to acknowledge the consummate teamwork, sensitivity, grace and warmth you brought during a long, cold winter. (And thank you Martina for stopping by to say Hi!)

Stay tuned...
